Ranjit Bantha won the men’s singles title of the 7th All-Orissa Baba Memorial Badminton Tournament, defeating Gyanachand in the final at Nalco Community Centre in Bhubaneswar yesterday.
The men’s doubles title went to Chitta Satpathy and Ravi Beura, who got the better of Kamal Das and Siba Das 21-19, 21-18. K C Das and P K Dhirsamant claimed the top prize in veteran doubles event, defeating P K Pal and B P Kar 21-19, 21-19.
Nalco Director (Production) P K Routray gave away the trophy and prizes at the closing function. Over 60 shuttlers took part in the four-day tournament, which was conducted by Nalco Yuba Jyoti Club.
